Dimitri Ivanov

Dimitri Ivanov (Institute of Materials Science of Mulhouse (IS2M, CNRS UMR 7361) is a Research Director at the French CNRS. His research revolves around the physics of semicrystalline and liquid-crystalline polymers, and he is also involved in instrumental development such as in-situ combination of ultra-fast nanocalorimetry and synchrotron X-ray diffraction, to study fast structure formation processes in organic and hybrid materials. He had held permanent positions in Russia and Belgium before joining the CNRS in France. He has extensive international collaborations, including research groups from leading universities in Germany, USA and Russia where he was awarded a MegaGrant project from the Russian Ministry of Science and Education aimed at creating a new experimental laboratory at Moscow State University.
